Age 8U (ages 8 & under) Play levels: Beginner (non-gender)
Age 10U (ages 10 & under) Play levels: Beginner (non-gender) & Intermediate
Age 12U (ages 12 & under) Play levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced
Age 14U (ages 14 & under) Play levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced
Age 18U (ages 18 & under) Play levels: Intermediate and Advanced
Players are always eligible to play up an age division, but cannot play in a lower age division or skill level. Teams in the 12U, 14U AND 18U divisions are co-ed and will consist of a minimum of six (6) players (3 boys and 3 girls). Teams using the non-gender format will consist of 6-8 players (of either gender). Note:All teams which participate in championship competition beyond the local league must be co-ed.
Teams must be registered in the appropriate play level based upon the NTRP rating of all team members. The USTA Jr. Team Tennis play levels are defined as:
- Beginner: NTRP 2.0 & below
- Intermediate: NTRP 3.0 & below
- Advanced: NTRP 3.5 and above
Team captain or coaches are responsible to make sure all team members are rated properly according to the NTRP Guidelines. Team play level may not be lower than the play level of any of the team members. All players must play at or above their play level based on NTRP ratings, subsequently all teams must be registered at or above the play level appropriate for the highest NTRP rated team member.

The season shall be a round robin with each team playing every other team in its division at least once. In the 12U, 14U, and 18U divisions. Each dual team match will consist of five individual matches; one line each of boys’ singles, girls’ singles, boys’ doubles, girls’ doubles, and mixed doubles. Dual team matches for 10U and 8U divisions will be two lines of singles and three lines of doubles (non gender specific). Scoring format varies by division.
